The Power of Stillness

Today’s post is simple. Sometimes, we need not to be lectured or given a long instruction of how-to’s and to-do’s.

Simple can be nice, right?


This week I encourage you to be still for a moment. Be gracious to yourself in whatever ways you need. We can be our worst enemy, and the love we give to others we forget to give ourselves. Be kind to yourself.

Be still. Learn to breathe in deeply, exhale slowly. It’s going to be okay. You are going to be just fine. In the good, the bad, the beautiful and ugly there is purpose.

Ask yourself, “For what am I thankful? For whom can I thank God?”

Count your blessings and grant yourself permission to just be. Sometimes, that is all we can do, and all we truly need.
