The Greatest Commandment

Did you know the greatest commandment in the Bible is to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength? (Mark 12:30 NIV)” God loves us each and every day without questioning whether or not we deserve to be love. Not once does He say, “I can’t love you today because you forgot to pray or you didn’t thank me for my sufficient grace this morning.” He loves us just the way we are. When we sin, when we make mistakes, and when we forget to pray, His love is still around us.

Love is a verb too–not just an adjective. As believers, we must be doers of the word and not just readers. Instead of speaking and thinking your love to God, show Him how much you love Him: “with all your heart”. God’s love for us is beyond measure and as His children, He wants our love to be similar to His. To learn how to do this, read 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. It will give you a description on what Godly love is.

Great message of God's love. There have been many times when God blessed me after I slipped. It's always a reminder of His unconditional love. He longs to shower us with His love!
Thanks for the post. God bless:)
