What is the Compassion Project?

Proverbs & Wisdom is committed to charity work and community service. The Compassion Project is our annual charity drive. The name was chosen because in the New Testament Jesus often showed compassion toward others to improve their situation. In the same manner, we hope to be Christ-like in showing compassion to others.

Is this your first charity drive?

No. This year makes P&W’s fourth charity drive. In previous years, we have donated school supplies to underprivileged children with Spreading Joy Corp., sent letters to our troops with A Million Thanks, helped fund a clean, water well in Ethiopia through charity: water, and this year we are helping the children at St. Jude’s.

What is the Compassion Project for St. Jude’s?

For St. Jude’s hospital we are collecting new art supplies and crafts for the children. For more details and the guidelines to adhere by, please read the information here.

When is the charity drive over?

Our charity drive is from November 1 – December 19th.
