Mother Theresa once said, “What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight. Build anyway.”
Sometimes, you may spend countless hours planning and preparing for something to occur. You hope for the best, do the best, try your hardest, and at the end wait for it to come into existence. Unfortunately, life doesn’t always allow what’s plan to actually happen.
I’ve learned that every day, despite it be good or bad, is an experience. That it is a part of life that we all must learn to treasure. It can become depressing that something we’ve worked so hard towards and perhaps even something we’ve dedicated our lives to didn’t happen, but it is the experience we had that matters most. A friend of mine use to always tell me, “Failure is sometimes a blessing in disguise.” At first, I was in disbelief, but this is true. Sometimes, things we plan have to go wrong or not happen in order for better things to fall into place. So don’t be discouraged, keep a positive attitude that God has something much better in store for you. Remember, that there is a time and place for everything– and it is up to us to be patient until that time.
In the process of obtaining what you want, make a pack to yourself to live everyday to its fullest. Even if your day’s end results are not one that you would have chosen, let it be an experience that showed you how to improve tomorrow. More importantly, as cliche as it may sound, never give up. Sometimes you are only a few steps away from your goal.
